See the recipe card at the bottom of the post for quantities.

Cream Cheese: Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature. Let the cream cheese sit out on the counter for 30 minutes to an hour before you plan to make this dip.

Marshmallow Fluff: Sticky, sweet, and the perfect ingredients to make this dip ultra creamy and perfectly sweet.

Chocolate Chips: I prefer to use mini chocolate chips for this recipe. It helps give you smaller bites but regular chocolate chips work too.

Brown Sugar: Just a little brown sugar enhances the flavor of this dip and adds a caramel-flavored component.

Food Coloring: Reach for any brand or type of food coloring you would like. Gel or liquid both work well.

Sprinkles: Opt for rainbow-themed sprinkles to give it more of a rainbow look. Or if you have different sprinkles in mind go ahead and change it up.

Rainbow Candy: These are an Air Head candy that works great to give it that rainbow theme.

Helpful Tips for Success

  • Room temperature cream cheese is needed, and make sure the Cool Whip is thawed if it is frozen.
  • If your dip is too thick you can add a little milk to thin it up. Or if it is too thin add some powdered sugar to the mixture to help thicken it up.
  • Chill the dip before serving to allow the flavors to blend but also the dip will thicken a bit.
