This Cinnamon Sugar Butter is an amazing addition to any English muffin, bagels, or sweet bread. It's loaded with cinnamon, sugar, and loaded with flavor.

This butter would be fantastic on my cinnamon swirl bread or on some toasted homemade bread!
Ingredients
See the recipe card at the bottom of the post for all ingredients and quantities.
- butter - I used salted butter for this recipe, but unsalted butter will work as well. You can also add ¼ teaspoon salt if you're using unsalted butter.
- cinnamon - This gives the compound butter the warm spice flavor.
- powdered sugar - I used powdered sugar so it blends in nicely in the cinnamon sugar butter. Granulated sugar will leave the butter slightly crunchy because it won't melt into the butter.
How to make Cinnamon Sugar Butter
- Let a stick of butter come up to room temperature.
- Add the butter, cinnamon, and powdered sugar in a medium bowl. Stir until well combined.
- Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge.

How to Store and Freeze
Store the Cinnamon Sugar Butter in an airtight container in the fridge or in a French butter dish at room temperature.
You can freeze compound butter! Wrap the butter tightly in two layers of plastic wrap and a layer of aluminum foil. You can also pop the butter in a freezer-safe container or freezer bag. It will last in the freezer up to 6 months.
Thaw the butter by placing in the fridge overnight.
