Pecan Pie Cobbler is a homemade dessert that is gooey and full of flavors of pecan pie but in cobbler form. This pecan cobbler recipe is so easy to make and a crowd-pleasing dessert. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Add some caramel or hot fudge.

How to Make Pecan Pie Cobbler

Step 1: In a mixing bowl you will add your dry ingredients. Toss to mix it up.
Step 2: Then you will add in the milk and vanilla, and mix to combine.
Step 3: Pour the batter into the prepared dish.

Step 4: Then in a new bowl add your melted butter, the rest of brown sugar and pecan.
Step 5: You will carefully spoon the mixture of the batter. Do not mix.
Step 6: Lastly pour the hot water all over the top of the cobbler. Do not stir again.
Step 7: Bake as directed, and once done, let cool a bit then serve.

Tips for Success
- When you are mixing up the batter do not overmix. As this can make it dense in texture.
- Carefully pour the hot water over the top of the cobbler. Make sure to not stir the mixture.
- Real butter over margarine is recommended for the best flavor.
- It is important that you grease your pan well or it will stick as it bakes up.
- The cobbler is best when served warm. Add on your favorite toppings and enjoy.
- You need to let the cobbler cool for about 10 minutes before you dish it up, to allow the sauce to thicken.
Storing Leftovers
Cover at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
This cobbler can be enjoyed at room temperature, but when you rewarm it, it tastes like it is just coming out of the oven. Place your portion in a heat-proof pan (ramekin) and air fry it for 3 to 4 minutes at 330 degrees F.

Yes, you are more than welcome to swap pecans with a different type of nut. Just use whatever nuts you would like. Walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, etc.
The hot water is going to be want makes the gooey texture to the cobbler, similar to a pecan pie filling. If you do not use the hot water, it will lack the moisture.

Pecan Pie Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar divided
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup salted butter melted
- 1 ¾ cups chopped pecans
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, ¼ cup brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until combined.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Whisk until all ingredients are combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, add the melted butter, ½ cup brown sugar, and chopped pecans. Mix until combined.
- Evenly sprinkle the pecan mixture over the batter in the baking dish. Don’t mix.
- Gently pour the hot water over the top. Don’t mix.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
