- Easy to make ahead
Ingredients
See the recipe card at the bottom of the post for all ingredients and quantities.
Butter – This helps create that cookie dough flavor. I used unsalted butter, but you’re more than welcome to use salted butter and omit the salt from the recipe.
Cream cheese – This helps with the creaminess for the dessert dip.
Brown sugar – You can use light or dark brown sugar. This helps give the classic peanut butter cookie dough flavor.
Peanut Butter – Use your favorite creamy peanut butter. Mine is Jif. Don’t use natural peanut butter for this recipe.
Substitutions and Variations
- Use salted butter instead of unsalted butter and leave out the salt.
- Use chunky peanut butter instead of creamy peanut butter for extra texture.
- Swap the Reese’s Pieces for mini chocolate chips.
- Add chopped peanut butter cups.
- Stir in crushed Oreos for a cookies and cream twist.
- Drizzle chocolate ganache or chocolate syrup on top before serving.
