Strawberry Lemon  Curd

This strawberry lemon curd has the perfect spring flavored filling to slather on top of cakes, cupcakes, and even cookies.

It's made with fresh strawberries that are pureed and freshly squeezed lemon juice and has the prettiest color that will brighten up any dessert!

How To Make Strawberry Lemon Curd


- granulated sugar - salt - cornstarch - strawberry puree - lemon juice - egg yolks - butter - strawberry extract

Step 1

In a medium sauce pan add in the sugar, salt, and cornstarch. Stir to combine

Add in the ¾ cup of strawberry puree and lemon juice, let boil for 2 minutes.

Add the egg yolks into a small bowl. Whisk to combine. Pour strawberry mixture and whisk

Step 4

Let the strawberry lemon curd come back up to a boil, and let boil for 5 minutes until thickened.

Step 5

Add in the chilled butter and strawberry extract

Store in fridge. Use in desserts, as a spread, or just eat by the spoonful.
