Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake

This over-the-top Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake has two layers of homemade red velvet cake with a crustless vanilla cheesecake center and a cream cheese whipped cream frosting.

How To Make Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake

INGREDIENTS

- cream cheese - sugar - flour - heavy whipping cream - vanilla extract - eggs - vegetable oil - buttermilk  - red gel food coloring - white vinegar - cake flour - unsweetened cocoa powder - baking soda - salt

Step 1

Make cake layers.

 Level the two layers of cake with a cake leveler or serrated knife. Set the slices you cut off to the side to toast for a garnish.

 Add a small amount of whipped cream frosting to the center of the cake plate, add the cake to the center of the cake plate.

Step 4

Add whipped frosting to top of cake, add cheesecake layer to the top.

Step 5

Add whipped frosting to top and top with last layer of cake. 

Step 6

Add whipped frosting all around the cake and add sprinkles.
