This Cherry Pie Recipe with the lattice pie crust is the perfect way to use up fresh cherries! It tastes so much better than the canned pie filling and I love seeing the cherries peeking out.

How To Make Cherry Pie


– Pie crusts – Granulated sugar – Cornstarch – Pitted cherries – Fresh lemon juice – Almond extract Swipe up for full list of ingredients

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place the first crust on a lightly floured surface.

Once your circle is rolled out, fold the dough in half, pick it up, and place it into a 9-inch pie plate.

In a bowl, add the cornstarch and sugar. Stir until incorporated.

Add the cherries to a large bowl. You can slice them in half if you want, but I like to keep them whole.
