Peanut Butter Apple Crumble

This peanut butter apple crumble is a fun, unique fall dessert!  The tart granny smith apples are smothered in brown sugar and peanut butter.  They're topped with a peanut butter crumble and baked until bubbly.

The apples come out tender and are soaking in an apple infused peanut butter sauce.

How to make  Peanut Butter Apple Crumble

INGREDIENTS

Filling > granny smith apples > creamy peanut butter > light brown sugar

Step 1 Crumble

In a large bowl, add flour, oats, and sugar.  Whisk together until incorporated and there are no lumps.

Step 2 Crumble

Add in the butter and peanut butter.  Using a fork, cut in the butter/peanut butter until it resembles small pebbles.  Set aside.

Step 1 Filling

In a large bowl, add in brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.  Whisk together until combined and no lumps are left.

Step 2 Filling

Add in the peanut butter and stir with spatula until it's incorporated into the dry mixture.

Add in the apples and stir until the apples are completely coated.
