Do you love S’mores? How about Peanut Butter Banana S’mores done on the grill? They are still easy to put together and can be done this summer at your next backyard BBQ.
This post is created by me with the help of HONEY MAID Grahams, HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate and JET-PUFFED Marshmallows. As always, all thoughts are my own.
Grilled Peanut Butter S’mores
It’s fun to take such a traditional recipe and change it up just a bit with an ingredient or two that people eat on a day-to-day basis. People tend to say one of two things when you do this. It’s either, “Oh, I would have never thought of doing this!” or “Oh, that’s weird.” I can assure you, it might sound weird, but it is definitely delicious!
Luckily, we had some happy campers at our July 4th BBQ. The Peanut Butter Banana S’mores were a hit! HONEY MAID Grahams, HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate, and JET-PUFFED Marshmallows had it right when they joined forces and named S’mores the “Official Dessert of the BBQ.” They’re the easiest and definitely the tastiest part of our backyard gatherings.
My friend and her daughters came over to join us in some summer grilling. Lucian played with Kirsty and her girls. He showed off the inside of his playhouse and everything. Kirsty has been busy since making plans on remodeling it. hehe.
Since I’m known as the cookie lady, I HAD to supply dessert for everyone. It just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t. Yeah, you read that correctly. I am known as the cookie lady. I guess it could be worse, they could call me the cat lady. Give me a few years.
BBQ’s, S’mores, and pizza mountain pie take me back to my childhood. We didn’t go on fancy vacations when I was a child. We went camping at the local state park where we would cook breakfast and dinner on the campfire and toast S’mores and make mountain pies before bed. Those were the days.
Don’t laugh at my tiny charcoal grill, guys. It makes a really nice mobile burn pit. It’s also my favorite grill to make hamburgers on and since there are just 3 of us, it’s the perfect size too.
