Whoop whoop! We’ve made it through April and now it’s time to announce the May Baking Challenge. May’s recipe is one that I just had to make because my monster cookie dough dip is so popular. Can you guess what it is? Scroll down and see what we’ll be baking! You can see the older monthly baking challenges too.
Who’s ready to check out the chocolate chip cookies from last month? Everyone seemed to be thrilled with them. They have a slightly crunchy edge and a soft, tender center.
Previous May Baking Challenge
Last May our baking challenge was for Chocolate Lasagna. It’s a tasty dessert with layers of soft, creamy fillings. There’s a chocolate crust, ganache, cheesecake, and whipped cream all stuffed in a 9×13 baking pan.
This month’s cookie recipe is for my Monster Cookies. The chocolate chip cookies went over so well last month, I figured we would bake another cookie recipe.
These monster cookies are soft, tender, and loaded with all sorts of goodies in them. They’re a peanut butter cookie with oats, chocolate chips, and M&M’s in them.
April Challenge Winner
The winner of the April Baking Challenge is Jessica Vogel Messer. I’ll be notifying her in the Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt VIP group just in case she doesn’t see it in the email.
You can view the previous baking challenges here.
