We're back at it with the May Baking Challenge! After taking a month off, I hope everyone is ready to bake along with me! Scroll to the bottom of the post to find out what this month's baking challenge recipe is.
I hope everyone is ready to whip up this month's recipe after having a little break. I had planned on creating a challenge for April but with my mini-vacation to Canada with my husband and son, Easter, and the beginning of sports, I lost track of time. In a blink of an eye, it was the middle of April and far too late to post the challenge.
Monthly Baking Challenge
For this month’s recipe, I picked the chocolate lasagna recipe. It’s so easy to make and tastes heavenly! It has layer after layer of deliciousness, starting with the chocolate cookie crust, then cream cheese, chocolate ganache, pudding, and finally whipped cream.
The crust provides just the right amount of texture to this incredibly creamy layer dessert. The ganache layer brings the intense chocolate flavor in this chocolate lasagna. Then there are the chocolate curls and chocolate drizzle on top that make the recipe look gorgeous.
March Challenge Winner
I randomly selected a winner using random.org. Since there wasn't a challenge for April, the winner for March has already been notified via the Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt FB group and claimed the prize. Congrats again to Shelly Mitchell!
