I thought I would start sharing some of my favorites, hence the title monthly favorites. So, they won't necessarily be food items, but general things overall that I've been loving. I hope you don't mind that we take the blog to a little more personal level. I'm a youtube fanatic and they're always doing monthly favorites and they're my favorite! It could be because I'm slightly nosey, but I can't be for sure. 😉
First of all, I want to name my favorite posts from myself and from the internet in genereal. My favorite post that I made was my boozy caramel iced popsicles. I'm a coffee fanatic, especially in the form of iced.
My favorite post on the interest was for circus animal cookie cake from beyond frosting.
Guys, this has inspired me to go out and buy a few bags of these crackers and make a couple killer recipes with them. Of course, I had to buy mine through Walmart.com because I couldn't find them. I know I've spotted them at stores a billion times, but for the life of me I can't remember which stores. Ohhhh well, at least with store pick there's no shipping fee.
Next up, my killer treatsie subscription box that I've been getting for four or five months now. Seriously. You know I have a sweet tooth and the things that come in this box make my heart race. ESPECIALLY THE CARAMELS. Oh god, those caramels. I think I get sent a box of caramels in every box and I couldn't be happier with that.
It's 19.95 and FREE shipping! It ships on the 15th of every month. If you do want to join me in getting a box of goodies to your door each month, I can get you a deal for double the sweets for free when you receive your first Treatsie box!
I ate those black lava sea salt caramels and that brittle all by myself and it was heavenly. My only complaint is that I wish I had more of that maple brittle. It was seriously the best brittle I've ever had. <3
Another thing I bought and can not wait to use is my cupcake cone baking rack. It's for the pointy waffle cones and I'm super duper excited for it. I have so many ideas!!
I tried using the waffle cones without this rack last winter. I *think* they just came out with these. Don't take my word on that though, I could be wrong. I put tin foil in a cupcake tin and tried my very best but they all tipped over while baking and just made one huge mess.
If you want to get your own, check them out on Amazon.
Lastly, my very favorite thing from July and August. The NuMe Megastar Straightener. You can set your own temperatures for your hairs. I use mine at 450 and use a heat protectant. Here's the thing, my hair is a frizzy curly mess. I can straighten it out and any dampness or humidity my hair seems to forget that it was straightened. The NuMe kept my hair straight in both the damp and very humid Washington D.C. a couple weeks ago. I've never had a straightener like this.
It leaves my hair soft. I can deal with that. You only need to make one pass through your hair for it to be straight. I can't stand when I have to do it over and over to get all the waves out. Again, my hair tends to be curly and wavy so sometimes it's a chore to get it to corporate. Then there's the fact that it takes maybe a minute or probably even less for it to get up to the hottest temperature (450°).
I got mine in pink. Gorgeous pink. There's also turquoise and black to pick from. I can get you 60% off any flat iron and free argan oil. The promo code is 60FLATIRONS and it's good until 8/31/16. They also gave me a code for 70% OFF ANY Curling Wand + Free Shipping if you prefer to curl your hair. The promo code is ITSONLY70 and it's also goo until 8/31/16.
