Who’s ready for the August Baking Challenge? This month we’ll be making a cookie recipe! They always seem to go over really well and it’s so delicious that it just has to be a challenge. Scroll to the bottom of the page to get the challenge recipe and details. You can see the older monthly baking challenges too.
For the July Baking Challenge we did chocolate dipped rice krispie treats. They are always a hit with kids and I don’t think the parents mind them either.
Check out all of the great rice krispie treat photos that were entered into challenge last month.
Previous August Baking Challenge
Last August for the monthly baking challenge we made zucchini bars. They’re SO good and incredibly popular this time of the year. You know, the overabundance of zucchini and all.
They’re so moist, packed full of zucchini, carrots, cinnamon, and topped with a delicious cream cheese frosting. You have to give them a try when you get your hands on a zucchini.
This month’s baking challenge recipe has nothing to do with zucchini but they are baked and always a huge hit. Are you ready for the big recipe reveal? It’s my peanut butter blossoms recipe that I just shared!
July Baking Challenge Winner
The winner for this month is Anna Jennings. I’ll be notifying her in the Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt VIP group just in case they don’t see the post.
