It’s hard to believe that the April Baking Challenge is here already and I’m so excited to announce the recipe. It’s simple, but a favorite in our house. Scroll down and see what we’ll be baking! You can see the older monthly baking challenges too.
Who’s ready to check out last month’s carrot cake bars entries? We had 3 which isn’t too bad for a month where people couldn’t find flour.
Previous April Baking Challenge
Looking back to last April, there wasn’t a baking challenge but there was one two years ago and it was for my chocolate chocolate chip pudding cookies. Can you believe I’ve been doing this for 2 years? Crazy.
I can’t even begin to express to you how amazing those cookies are. I think the secret to those is to use the Hershey’s instant pudding mix.
We’re totally making another cookie recipe this April Baking Challenge. I guess I didn’t realize that I had picked a cookie recipe before. That’s pretty funny.
This month’s cookie recipe is for my Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are soft and chewy. To ensure that your cookies are also soft, be sure to not overbake them. You can even slightly underbake them if you would like.
March Challenge Winner
The winner of the March Baking Challenge is Kirsten Lessard. I’ll be notifying her in the Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt VIP group just in case she doesn’t see it in the email.
You can view the previous baking challenges here.
